Objectives

We are a group of dynamic spanish businessmen and residents that have had the courage to step to the front and establish ourselves as a legal Association in Singapore in June 2009. Our aim is not only to provide the basic social function of bringing people in the community together but to start offering services with true added value.

The Objectives of the Association shall be:

  1. To provide a forum on an organized continuing basis of Spanish businessmen and professionals as well as other nationals who are businessmen/professionals of Spanish companies. The Association shall enable its members to identify and discuss common interests and objectives related to economy and trade, education and research, tourism and gastronomy, sports and social events, among others.

  2. To organise frequent meetings and social events to encourage members to share their skills and talents to enhance the objectives of the Association. These activities will include: conferences, debates and round tables on business and research; gatherings to engage members in sports, competitions, performances and social events to promote the Spanish culture.

  3. To assist other related associations, institutions and businesses to strengthen the country brand and image of Spain.

  4. To offer services and assist Spanish nationals living in Singapore and/or their companies, to conduct, sponsor and promote activities, either commercial or cultural without involvement in politics.

  5. To foster and support Spanish related interest of the members of the Association by all means and methods consistent with the laws and constitution of the Republic of Singapore.

  6. To increase the relations between Spain and Singapore within the interests and objectives of the Association.

  7. To collect, obtain, publish and disseminate statistics and other information relating to all matters connected therewith as may be of service to the members.

  8. To facilitate by lawful means the exchange of views and information between Spanish and other nationals employed in executive and management positions in Singapore by companies or firms in which there is a direct or indirect Spanish interest.

  9. To do any or all other such things as are conductive to the attainment of the above objectives.
